Namesco gets hairier in aid of Movember

A hairy bunch of Namesco Developers and Designers are doing their bit for the Movember appeal this month.  Take a look at their progress on day 24 of the Movember moustache growing challenge – very impressive!

Namesco Movember

Movember takes place in the month of November each year to raise awareness of men’s health issues such as male specific cancers.  Moustache growing males, also known as Mo Bros, sign up to the website with a cleanly shaven face on November 1st and for the rest of the month, these gallant men wax, twiddle and groom their bristly top lip finery into place.  Mo Bros and Mo Sisters (women who register to support their men) raise funds by seeking sponsorship for their facial hair growing efforts. All the money raised in the UK goes towards the number one and two male specific cancers – prostate and testicular cancer.

Spurring the team on this year is Alex Mace, Application Projects Manager, whose Grandad sadly passed away three years ago from cancer.  Also in the Development team, Simon Britton is currently supporting a family member battling against this disease.  Alex, Simon, Mike and Ben have so far raised just under £100 for the Movember appeal.

Our thoughts go out to these men and anyone else who is or has been affected by cancer.  Thanks to our team members for getting involved and getting hairy!
