Businesses: Top tips on how to keep social customers happy

I Like it - Thumb upSince the likes of Facebook and Twitter came along businesses have been, whether willingly or not, opened up to the in-your-face communication that social networking delivers.

Reading customer feedback about your products and services is fantastic, it’s a great way to learn first-hand what your customers are thinking and in real time.  Have they started using the new web hosting ecommerce feature yet?  What did they think about the free email upgrade you gave them last week?  It’s instant feedback on a plate…on a very public plate.

Movember…done!

Well done to our hairy supporters of Movember: Alex Mace, Simon Britton, Mike Holloway and Ben Bishop raised a total of £195 during this month of outrageous moustachery.  All money raised will go directly to the Movember.com fund where it gets distributed amongst the men’s health awareness causes.

Namesco have done Movember

After much shaving and preening, our team members are back to their old less hairy ways, and are very happy with that.  Well done again team Moustachestershire Sauce!

Namesco gets hairier in aid of Movember

A hairy bunch of Namesco Developers and Designers are doing their bit for the Movember appeal this month.  Take a look at their progress on day 24 of the Movember moustache growing challenge – very impressive!

Movember

Movember takes place in the month of November each year to raise awareness of men’s health issues such as male specific cancers.  Moustache growing males, also known as Mo Bros, sign up to the Movember.com website with a cleanly shaven face on November 1st and for the rest of the month, these gallant men wax, twiddle and groom their bristly top lip finery into place.  Mo Bros and Mo Sisters (women who register to support their men) raise funds by seeking sponsorship for their facial hair growing efforts. All the money raised in the UK goes towards the number one and two male specific cancers – prostate and testicular cancer.

Everything Starts with Your Domain

You may have a new business idea and want to secure your domain name, or you may want to start a new community site and you have a domain in mind.  The first thing that a lot of people do is purchase a domain name and then do little with it whilst they decide how they will use it.

Often it is more cost effective to purchase your domain name as part of a package.  We offer selected domains free of charge with our annual hosting packages and with our annual site builder tool SiteMaker and SiteMaker PRO.

Up to 33% off in our Summer Sale

Today we have launched our summer sale. Until the 22nd August, customers can enjoy discounts of up to 33% on everything needed to develop a website whether it is a small personal website or a full ecommerce enabled site. Products in the sale include domain names, which are often the starting point for most customers. However it maybe more cost effective to consider how the domain name will be used as we offer some domains free of charge with our website building tools and shared hosting products; which are also discounted in the sale.
